It’s still cold but we now have strong winds blowing through the north of Germany. Stay indoors and keep warm is the solution to this fact of nature. I watched a football match on TV last night and dozed off. I crawled into bed and slept until late this morning. I have read more and listened to music on my digital radio – including BBC Radio 4 news reports. I got a call from Imre this morning reminding me to go to his home on Thursday for lunch with a few other people. It’s his birthday so I expect to listen to a lot of Hungarian as we munch out way through his meal.
Who has a birthday in February 2022? My oldest and best friend Alan will be 79 on the 3rd and sure to celebrate with Lynne in Castleford. I wish I could be there. Back in Berlin, Jens Weise will be 52 on the 4th. On the 18th, Dr. Ingeborg Pardon will be 74 on the 18th. I’m looking forward to attending garden parties at her home during summer. Staying in Berlin, Eleonora will be 63 on the 22nd and over in London Adrian Bridge will celebrate his 62nd birthday on the 25th. Peter Bateson over in Australia will be 42 on the 28th and so ends our birthday month. Happy Birthday to each and all no matter where you are.
